The intent is to support legislation that clarifies how non-FINRA licensed business intermediaries and Merger & Acquisition Advisors can be compensated when a client transaction is conducted as a stock sale rather than an asset sale.

Passage of this legislation is in the best interests of all parties, business buyers, business sellers, business intermediaries, transaction attorneys and the public in general.
