Steve brings to his clients over a decade of experience as a successful business broker, serving clients from Northern California to New Jersey and now located in the Virginia area. Steve has a wide-ranging business background with a focus on providing the highest level of customer satisfaction. Steve’s experience includes work in mergers and acquisitions, as well as small business brokerage, finance, business development, and sales and account management. His skills in project management, negotiations, presentations, financial modeling, and valuation help his clients evaluate, purchase, or sell a business with confidence.
Earlier in his career, Steve spent seven years as the owner/operator of a successful Senior Helpers in-home, non- medical care business in Northern California. In the first three years following the acquisition, the business tripled in size under Steve’s leadership.
In Northern California, Steve founded and operated Intero Business Brokers, built out as part of a large full service real estate firm that would be purchased by Berkshire Hathaway, where he represented more than one hundred and fifty companies. This business was built upon professionalism and second-to-none customer service.
Previously to this Steve had a corporate career that spanned some fifteen years leading activities in Mergers and Acquisitions of mid-sized technology, manufacturing, and service companies, as well as holding financial management and sales positions. He brings valuable experience in the acquisition decision process, due diligence, deal negotiations and transaction execution and closing processes to his clients.
Steve is a member of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) where he holds the designation of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) (2019) and is serving on the Membership Engagement Committee. Steve holds a BS in Finance from Colorado State University and an MBA from San Jose University. He currently lives in the Richmond, Virginia area with his wife.
