Marginal wine drinkers account for another 28.2 million wine consumers and 50% drink wine at least 2-3 times per month. Core wine consumers are primarily female (60%) and between the ages of 40-59. Marginal wine consumers are also primarily female (59%) and between the ages of 30-49.
